Not a bad start for a very new squad they battlled on all season and gave all opposition a fight, our problem was our lack of goals of which will have to be ironed out for the 08-09 season.defence was pretty solid,midfield needs a lot of work were we lost a lot of ball which stopped the balls to our forwards who at times were fighting a lost cause but as a unit the whole team defended well and we had a lot of low scoreing games for this level of football,but it was frustrating at times and had us all pulling our hair out at fulltime on many occastions, but on reflection it was a new squad and Rome was'nt built in a day ,so on we go and we,re all looking forward to 08-09 with a year together at 11 aside and a bunch of lads that can go on as a team and only get stonger if we stiick together -----well done boys and thank.s for the support from all the parents ------- ste ------.
