WOOLSTON ROVERS FC UNDER 11'S B TEAM ARE PROUD TO SUPPORT AND BE MEMBERS OF THE F A RESPECT PROGRAMME

This is the third season together for the Under 11's B Team and we are just one of twenty four teams currently playing for Woolston Rovers FC in the Warrington Junior Football League.

Although the bulk of the squad have been together for three seasons this season is an altogether different proposition for the team as they step up to 11 a side football with full sized pitches and goals, quite literally a massive change.

A fantastic effort last season saw the team winning promotion through a third place finish, but in actual fact they have moved up two divisions as the D Team were promoted within the Club to the B Team.

I am delighted to say we have retained all ten players from last season, we have also added five new players with a mixture of ability and experience, George Cooper has joined us from the A Team, Curtis Sharman has joined us from Culcheth Athletic FC, both of these lads have experience and will bring in some quality, Sami Wych was once on Woolston Rovers FC books but unfortunately things did not work out but he has signed up and is raring to go, both Andrew Wilcock and Jordan Hartley-Kenyon are inexperienced but their enthusiasm and determination should see them through.

We are sure that all of the new lads will develop into important members of the squad.

We also have new members to the coaching staff in the shape of Gary Ward, whose experience at the top level will prove to be invaluable as we all take the step up to 11 a side football, and Ian Williams who has been helping us out for the later part of last season.

As well as keeping all the players from last season we once again have all of the coaches from last season, Rob, Phil and myself (Graham).

We are sure this season will prove to be every bit as successful as the last, and again it will be one of FUN and SUCCESS for everyone associated with the B Team both on and off the field.

So just like last year "ALTOGETHER, LADS AND PARENTS ALIKE, HANDS IN THE MIDDLE AND SHOUT TEAM!!!!!!!!!!!!"
